In 2006, a smaller group of instrumentalists presented a special concert called 'Concert for Oscar' in celebration of Maria's baby boy. In July 2009, a similar event took place this time to celebrate Oscar's new sister, Prudence. The musicians included some who then lived outside Sydney and were only able to participate because the concert was put together with only two full rehearsals! The performers were:
