Welcome back Harry!

Harry Dingle was still living in Tasmania, but he came up to Sydney in September 2005 to be in this concert with us. With him came his youngest son, Matthew, to join with Tully and Tegan and the rest of us to put on what was truly an amazing concert - 65% of it original material!

Listen to the original performance of 'Bird Sings the Blues' performed by Harry with Kathleen & Trevor at the Swadlings' BBQ just before Harry left for Tasmania in 2004. Bikini is another classic Harry song which Harry didn't think appropriate to do in the concert! ;-)

There were four public performances:

2pm, Sun 11th September, 2005
St David's Church
St David's Avenue, Dee Why
7pm, Fri 16th September, 2005
St Andrews Uniting Church
Chisholm & Vernon Streets, South Turramurra
7pm, Sat 17th September, 2005
Avalon Baptist Peace Church
George Street, Avalon

1pm, Sun 18th September, 2005
New Theatre, 542 King Street, Newtown
(midway between Newtown & St Peters stations)
Tickets: $10 (all proceeds towards the New Theatre Building Fund)

All Loosely Woven performances are free though on most occasions, invitations are extended to make a donation towards a charity. In the case of the Avalon concert, it was to raise funds for Amnesty International.
