Blue Skies

Two chances this weekend to experience a free acoustic concert called 'Blue Skies' performed by Loosely Woven, a group of 20 singers and instrumentalists. The first performance will be on Saturday at 7pm in the Avalon Baptist Peace Church to raise funds for Amnesty International and asylum seekers. The second is at 2pm on Sunday in St David's Church, Dee Why (next to the police station).

The concert will feature both musical and spoken word items in the tradition of early 20th century Music Hall including the world premiere performances of two short musicals by local composers Harry and Tully Dingle.
